QUALITY PROCESS MANAGER (Interim or Permanent)
Food Manufacturing
Commensurate with market conditions

Based in Scotland the successful candidate will report to the Technical Manager delivering mainly in the UK but also other countries in smoked, cooked or fresh salmon and trouts.

His/Her main mandate will be to contribute to the profitable growth of the business through the development & implementation of strong end-to-end Quality Programs.

He/She will represents the authority in designing, maintaining and continuously improving the Management of Quality.

The Quality Process Manager will;

Ensure food safety, technical, quality and hygiene matters meet the regulator and customer requirements

Directly oversee the technical process supervisor, hygiene manager, laboratory supervisor and quality control team

Take a focussed approach on all microbiological management by ulitilizing lab and hygiene teams in a coordinated manner

Working with NPD Manager, take proactive role in NPD process

Audit raw material and finished product suppliers on a risk assessment basis


Degree educated in Food or related discipline

Strong experience in the fish manufacturing food industry

Experience in a quality or technical management role

Experience of working with UK major retailers, HACCP and quality systems

Experience of leading quality assurance and hygiene teams
